We offer Live Scan Fingerprinting using the most advanced equipment and software currently on the market. Our services are convenient, fast, and accurate with guarantee. We have a very low (1%) rejection rate. We offer this service both at our facility as well as mobile services where we bring our equipment and services to your business or facility. Our experienced technicians will assist applicants with the required paperwork which needs to be processed for live scan fingerprinting. We will also explain in detail what is required by the applicant in order to retrieve the results from the background check as quickly as possible. After correctly inputting the correct personal applicant data, scanning and then processing fingerprints electronically your application and fingerprints will be submitted in seconds rather than days!
Here is what you will need to bring to get a live scan completed:
1. Request for Live Scan Form
There are 100s of reasons for needing live scan fingerprinting. Each agency requesting live scan submissions has its own unique form designated by the California Department of Justice. The forms are called “Request for Live Scan Services” and contain an ORI code that the DOJ uses to identify the specific agency requesting the background report. It’s important for each live scan applicant to submit the correct form in order to avoid delays with the criminal background process. Applications are obtained by the Requesting Agency.

- U.S. Tribal or Bureau of Indian Affairs Identification Card
- Social Security Card
- Court Order for Name Change/Gender Change/Adoption/Divorce
- Marriage Certificate (Government issued certificate)
- U.S. Government issued Consular Report of Birth Abroad 3
- Foreign Passport with appropriate immigration document(s)
- Certificate of Citizenship (N560)
- Certificate of Naturalization (N550)
- INS I-551 Resident Alien Card issued since 1997
- INS I-688 Temporary Resident Indentification Card
- INS I-688B, I-766 Employment Authorization Card
Supplemental Documents:
When validating the authenticity of secondary identification documents and forms, the data and information need to be supported by at least two of the following supplemental documents:
- Utility bill (address)
- Jurisdictional voter registration card
- Vehicle registration card/title
- Paycheck stub with name/address
- Spouse/parent affidavit
- Cancelled check or bank statement
- Mortgage documents
3. Form of Payment
We charge a very reasonable $25.00 fingerprinting rolling fee for each live scan. We are also required to collect and forward the applicable DOJ and/or FBI fees for each application if the application does not have a billing number. The Requesting Agencies’ FORM BCII 8016, “Request for Live Scan Service” ORI NUMBER, LEVEL OF SERVICES, & BILLING NUMBER (if applicable) will determine the exact services and fees required.
